I sure could use some snow, I think our last chance for it is gone though. Today we were in the low 60's. Not fair says I....

anyone have success in researching in Iowa? I am trying to find Wilfred L McMeekin b. abt. 1916 in SD but the family moved to IA when he was a small boy. I think he may have married a woman named Maxine. He may also have moved on to CA, but that is family lore at this time. His father was Guy William McMeekin born in Rock Island Co., IL and his mother Ada Hauser. He has a brother named Grant Floyd and a sister Arvilla Lucille.

I need one name looked up. Ingersoll Skinner Moyer, probably from the midwest at the latter part of the 19th century.

I have nothing more than a pic. with the middle person identified as Ingersoll Skinner Moyer. It appears to be from about the turn of the century. If it connects to the other Moyers it would be the latter part of the 19th century. All conjecture. How old is the Ingersoll Moyer that you've found in Michigan?
