One thing to remember: is when you gather any information, record the 'source' or 'proof'. This is important to include this with the data you add to your family. As an example: Worcester County Marriage Licenses, 1795-1865, Mary Beth and Vanessa Long, Family Line Publications, 1990, page 160.......Or something from the Internet: you can include the website, name and date of the person posting, and their email address. But all of these things are good, but if possible, you should chack these out yourself for accuracy. If you think as if you were a 'detective', researching can be fun.
