No, I was not aware of it as I have not come across that surname in my lines thus far. Would be willing to share with you any of my WADSWORTHs information that I may have if it would help you. Please contact me at bdorsett@frontiernet.net and perhaps we can chat about it. Thanks for letting me to know that. Bea Dorsett

I have no idea as to which of my lines would connect to the HINCKLEY, SOULE, JOSSELYN/JOSLIN, HOWLAND lines. Most of my family history files have been put storage temporarily. However the next time that I go to the storage facility, I will take out my WADSWORTH files and go through them. I need to anyway as my hard drive crashed recently and I have not put back the stuff that I lost since my last backup. Let me know if there is any information that you need from me at bdorsett@frontiernet.net

Thank you, Bea. You may very well have the Mayflower connection which I am sure I do not have. But if you find more information I would like to have it. The Hinckley family information I have is mostly from the Banks books written about the settlers of Martha's Vineyard in MA.

To my best knowledge and information I currently have, all of my ancestor who came from England first stopped at Isle of Wight, VA and then migraged south and then later after the Civil War they migrated on to Texas. Some went due west from GA to AL and then on to Texas a few of them, one branch of the DORSETTs actualy went northwest into Arkansas and OK before going on to Ellis and Tarrant County, Texas. If you can give me a specific line, I will share all that I have with you. Thanks, Bea Dorsett bdorsett@frontiernet.net

Looking for descendants of, and any additional information on, Anthony MULLINS or Antonio MOLINA, a Genoese farmer, imigrated to America on the ship 'Triumph' that left Leghorn, Italy on September 2, 1773. This was the first ship that Philip Mazzei brought from Italy. In his lifetime, Anthony had at least two wives and eighteen children. He received a pension of $80 per year for his Rev. war service and his last wife Sarah, received his land grant following his death. Anthony died on November 3, 1836 in Lincoln County, Tennessee.

POST #2.....Additional Genealogical Information held by the Archives
Suffolk County Deeds
Deeds for property in Suffolk County, 1689-1800, are held by the State Archives. Typically the records include the grantor and grantee, and the location and description of the property being transferred. The deeds are arranged in volumes chronologically, according to the date and time they were filed.
Note: The grantor and grantee indices, which are vital for use of the collection, are held by the Suffolk County Registry of Deeds at the courthouse on New Chardon Street.
Other Collections
Other collections held by the Archives, not normally associated with genealogical research, may also provide information on families or individuals. These include the collection of maps and plans and legislative papers. Many maps, especially those of towns in Maine, include settlers’ names with their residences or lots. These maps often relate to legislative action or material from the Eastern Lands papers. Legislative records for both passed and unpassed bills include petitions, remonstrances and local documents in addition to the bills. These may provide information about specific individuals, particularly when the legislation concerned the
incorporation of a town, business or land grant.
Additionally, Massachusetts Water Supply real estate records include photographs of houses and graves in the four disincorporated towns prior to construction of the Quabbin Reservoir as well as portions of other surrounding towns.
The Archives Division of the Secretary of the Commonwealth’s Office is the repository for Massachusetts records generated by state government. Archives holdings date from the beginning of the Massachusetts Bay Colony in 1628 and document the settlement of lands in Maine and Massachusetts, the arrival of immigrants, and the development of state government. Public records are not in the holdings of the Archives strictly because of inherent genealogical value, but since they often include references to so many Massachusetts people, these documents are a major resource for people engaged in the study of family history.......

Hi Bea: I looked through your Wadsworth line and sorry to say I couldn't find any matches. My Wadsworth runs through the Howland, Soule, Alden, Josselyn lines eventually ending up with John Alden, John HOwland, Thomas Josselyn and the Soule line. Guess these New Englander's didn't venture that far south.

Joyce, I am glad to hear that you received my email and the attachments. As I re-enter all the information from my hard copy info, I will be on the watch for your surnames. One never knows what they will find when they start working on the smaller branches of their families. Also if you run across any of my Finnish ancestors who came to this country in the earlier 1900s, please let me know. The first time they showed up on a US Census, I think they would have been in Green Bay, Brown, WI. That line of ancestors are: JACOBSEN, HEIKKELL, CARLSSON, ERICSSON, ERIKS, DANIELSSON, ANDERS, JOHANSON, TARVONEN, ANDERSEN, BLASSAR, KARJALAINEN, MOISANEN, TAURIANEN, MATILLA, KALLUNGI and GRANROTH. Thanks, Bea

This also is probably not much help. But we have pages of information copied for us on WILDBORE Ancestry(done in 1958) The very last page and paragraph..refers to PARKERS.This is 'Robert PARKER of Barnstable Mass.'by Maclean W.Mclean,of Pittsburg PA...
info from..'Mayflower descendant Magazine' and vital records of Barnstable. 'The History of Cape Cod' refers identifies Robert PARKER as son of Wm PARKER of Scituate. It says it is true Wm.was in Scituate in 1639.But this Wm.died in Scituate in 1684.,and his will mentions no son Robert....guess what no more it ends there)..says that Robert had 12 children and 78.....g.children,Not much data ..on them at that time.'Probably because there were numerous 17th century PARKER families.......fun)

Friend, you did good, found the same site that I did... That Bennett family is my direct line from Sarah 'Sally' Bennett b. 1755 in Granville Co., NC married John Estes, born 1750 in Granville Co., NC. That information took me back 9 generations in the Bennett line...
