do you have a census or something to search in for Ontario.. if so I need BELAIR/BELLAIRE/BLAIR from that area.. don't know if this is the area or not.. but my line had to come from someplace in that area before Quebec... i have them in Huntingdon but i think there is a Peter Belair born 1851 in the Ontario sites.. might be mine.. can't find any infor on his dad Joseph Belair/Bellaire and Joseph wife Louise Pigeon...

Bellywash to Mr. B
I have hit my brick wall with my Great grandfather in Ontario, Can!!! Migrated to Ontario about 1850 as a 24 year old from Germany.. Married or got married, had a bunch of kids including my grandfather. Much of the rest of the family migrated to the 'homestead' Alberta, Canada lands about 1900 and latter. Naturally his name was George Fischer, w. Marie Schaeffer. He's listed as a 'shoemaker' as my mother could attest that her father had his cobler's bench and would repair shoes. Natually they came into Canada unrecorded other than some sketchy Canadian records.... HELP
