Do you research RING and would this be of interest to you? There didn't seem to be any article with it but..... Tuesday Morning May 6, 1919 edition of 'The Fort Wayne Journal-Gazette' (Fort Wayne, Indiana), page 3, has a fairly large photo of Julia RING (must've been an actress??) with caption under it which reads: JULIA RING Assisted by James Norval in 'Divorced,' heading big Keith week-end all-feature bill opening at The Palace this afternoon.

Donna to BLAIR/ DIEDRICH/ PFEIFER
Correction: the Nov. 17, 1955 issue of same paper has a reprint of exact same article about PFEIFER/DIEDRICH/BLAIR on page 2, under heading Interesting New Notes of Local Happenings of the Week... it's much clearer print. I misread the spellings of these two ... should be Kanauna, Wisconsin (not Kanauha) ... and ... Van Abels in Holland Town (not Van Abeis).

Don't know if this will figure in anywhere but I found this in the 1880 census of Catlin, Chemung Co., NY: OSTRANDER, Solomon age 59 b. NY, Hannah age 57 b. NY, Alice age 24 b. NY, Emma age 20 b. NY, Adelburt age 22 b. NY and his wife Delia age 22 b. NY...Maybe Nellie's father and Delia's father been brothers? In 1880 Nellie was 15, Alfred was 17 and Delia 'above' was 22.

Thanks, this is really mysterious. I have no idea where Delta/Delia came in. IF she married him when he was in NY them perhaps I might find a death notice for her after Bradley was born. In that paragraph posted last night it says Alfred was in business in Olean, NY. That is the next county west of Allegany where he was born.It is Cattaugaurus County. Wonder if I can get death info for those years. Bradley was born in 1888. I think this is going to ba an interesting one to research.

From what you sent me, I see that James W. and Delia are sister and brother. James married Sarah Ward had NETTIE, remarried after Sarah's death to Louise R. POESONS. They had from that mariaage Ellis and NELLIE (nicname for Josephine?)

So it boils down to (I think), Alfred B. Norton married Nellie b. 1865 daughter of James Warner and Louise POESONS. So he is the son-in-law of James W. Ostrander not JAMES H.
