If anyone needs a lookup in Worcester County, Maryland for Marriage Licences, between the years only (1795-1865), email me personnaly at: firstname.lastname@example.org.....I have the following book that I use alot..'Worcester County Marriage Licenses, 1795-1865, by Mary Beth and Vanessa Long, Family Line Productions, 1990'.
Checking in here in Cool at 8:00 AM. Today I am researching the MARDERS surname. Anywhere anytime.
Today I am searching for Bradley NORTON the son of Alfred B. NORTON and Della Ostrander. Bradley was born in 1888. His father was born in Allegany County, NY but died in 1943 in Knoxville, TN. Alfred was also married to Nellie REDMAN and I am not sure if that was in TN.
I have not looked in TN before. Are there death indexes on the web? Marriages that are web searchable? I am off to a funeral and will check back later.
Does anyone know what county Knoxville TN is in?

I don't think the Torrey Marriage books will help you as they were all for Pre-1700 marriages. Waitstill and Lydia were married after that.
You got me diggin thru file boxes of letters and papers! Guess what? I found a couple of letters that I had gotten and filed away(guess cause I was doing something else at the time). One was from the son of the other HABERKORN boy that was adopted out! The SR. Augustus Robert Haberkorn was killed from head injuries in Boston on July 27, 1895. Robert Ausustus(mine) was born Mar. 30, 1889, William Alexander was b. Sept 18, 1891 he was adopted by the Haley family on Oct 1, 1912, their sister Dorothea was b. Jan 22, 1894 (and adopted by the Cross family on July 10, 1899). One of the letters states that he, Robert Augustus was adopted in 1902 in Lawrence?, MA. Now I don't know if the Home had/has another part in Lawrence or not. I do know they were living in Lawrence in 1900 in the census with Robert.

I do not know of TN state wide indexes for death before about 1925. Marriage records were kept by county although some have been compiled into books. Check this site for help: http://www.state.tn.us/sos/statelib/pubsvs/mailstat.htm
You should be able to get a death certificate for the 1943 death from the site I just posted.
Thanks to Ax, Bets, Matthie, Tn Marge and LVN and anyone I missed for all the leads. I will be busy searching and looking. I'll let you know what gold I find!!
I apologize for my old web page on tripod. I haven't been able to get into it for ages. I did not realize all those ads were up. They now want money to take advertisements off. I think I will sign up with Macintosh for a combined package. It is cheaper in the long run. SBC's cd really messed up my whole system. And I am running at only half speed.
No apology needed. I did not see any ads. Are you talking about your internet server or tripod's web pages? I don't know anything about Macintosh. Friend, it's good to have you back here posting!
A friend of mine works in a busy office where a computer going down causes quite an inconvenience. Recently, one of the computers not only crashed, it made a noise that sounded like a heart monitor. A coworker called out in mock horror, 'This computer has flat-lined! Does anyone here know how to do mouse-to-mouse?'
Bets, St. Ann's Orphanage is the only one that was in Lawrence. Don't think HLW had their tentacles up in Lawrence but they might have. St. Ann's is now defunt - home/school for troubled children. Did I ever look in Derry for birth cert? I know I searched there many times for people but can't remember if you were one of them. Has anyone checked at Lawrence City Hall for vitals for you? If not email me w/what you want me to look for as I hope to be down there very soon. Yup I'm gettin back in the geni saddle and it feels gooood!!
Glad to see you BACK!!! Hope things are going better for you now. Watch next post, Raymond William EOLIN was born in Methuen in July 15, 1906. Need cert for him. However his father William, my ggrandfather is still the main puzzle.
