You are lucky to have found your names in genforum. I tried to get some of mine listed, but I guess unless they get a certain number of ppl requesting that name, it doesn't get put on the list. I still look there though..you never know what you might find!! Happy that you have had the great success which you have had!!

Thanks, you answered my question. Re scheduled chats..my problem with those is that unless I have them listed somewhere where I will see where & when they are, I usually miss them. Like many, I feel most at home with the way the room is sest up right now.

Maybe your problem is because we share the same 11 digits for an email. Still don't understand how that works. Anyhow, I have had no problem with my remarks here.

You have received many leads here, some of them for books. If you have access to a library have you asked if they can get one of these volumes on Interlibrary Loan.

Jen, Initially, I had responded to a post in genforum for the HEEDLEY/HEADLEY/HUDLEY surname. Lo and behold a granddaughter of my great-grandfather responded emailed me and then sent me a big envelope full of famiy history by snail mail. We have also talked on the telephone a few times as well.

Shana, I think it would be very good if there are knowledgeable people who can commit to being here at a specific time daily to assist with computer/genealogy guestions and concerns. Also, anyone posting URL's of 'genealogy how to' and any useful site is helpful for most of us.

BWO Jenlen runs a club of folks with books who will look up stuff in their books. She might have somebody with the book you are interested in. jtenlen@drizzle.com

The room would still be available 24/7. just there would be certain times that someone would be here for sure.

Shana, like some of the others, I never know when I can be here. I admit that it would be nice to be here when others are here. It does help to have some feedback but I am sorry I don't think I would be much help. Thanks again for the site!

At this URL, was the only words on Google for 'APO # for 313th Sanitary Train in France' ~ http://www.rootsweb.com/~wvtucker/WWI.htm ~ Scroll down about half the page, and do ctrl+F for 'Sanitary Train', and you will come upon the man's letter home.

My thought was that you might be able to email someone from the sites and ask them your specific questions. The club gives me the feel that they would be more than happy to help. Try it. Let me know what they say.

I for one like the room the way it is. Like the 'informalness' about it. I have been to hosted chats. They were nice, and it could work. I come and read the archives everyday, so i don't get too far behind. So long as much of the format stays the same, you could give it a try?

My vote is to leave the room hours as you have them, at least for me. I never know when I can get online so I like to have it available when I'm available. Also, you have people from around the world using it and some can't keep our time.
