Bea, How were you able to get hold of all this wonderful information? Was it strictly through research..or maybe queries on message boards? I have learned quite a bit about many of my relatives through message boards. Just received some very good information the other day. I had left my email addy on a board back in 1999 & the person who wrote to me had just found it.

Still looking for James Wesley HEEDLEY/HEADLEY/HUDLEY's parents. Received a gold mine today in the form of an envelope from one of my great grandfrather's granddaughters containing many pieces of family history along with sources of information. The contents of the envelope will keep me busy for a long time. It was there that I learned of the different spellings of my great grandfather's surname. So, that will give me several new avenues to search.

Would that mean that the room would not be availabe 24/7? Like the idea of someone being around to make newcomers welcome. I am on several lists which I feel people would be interested in coming into a chat room, if there were someone here to show them the ropes, that's for sure. Was interested in the hours, for the most part though.

Soon a few more modifications to the room will be made. After that, I will be submitting links to the room to sites, to get the word out about the room. I'm hoping ppl will be around to make any newcomers welcome and to show them the ropes. I also thought that som scheduled times would be good for newcomers to visit. *shrugs* just an idea i wanted to throw out to ya'll

They would be in here. they don't have to be formal or anything. don't even have to have subjects. just a set time, that i can announce on the main page, so that newcomers can be sure someone is in the room, so that they can either ask questions, or just watch to see how it's done.

Searching today for Arthur OLLIFF married to Mary Riley. He was born abt 1865 in England and moved to the US in his teens or early twenties. He had at least three sons, Arthur born 1896, William born 1901 and another born abt 1909. There are possibly 9 children altogether, but I have no other information. Seeking Arthur Sr's date of death and info on other children.

Kit, do you have any relatives from the Kenosha/Racine area of WI? Most of my relatives are from there..either that or from Turtle, Rock County, WI. I have someone who is visiting from Kenosha, WI the second week of April. We have been writing to one another for quite some time. Should be interesting. Let me know about the Kenosha/Racine, WI area, OK? I'm having a time with that area. Thanks!!
