can't find Mesma or Mezma Act, not even in online legal dictionaries but did another google search using the phrase 'abolished witchcraft laws'... there's a page titled THE HISTORY OF PAGANISM that includes this: '... All of those in the craft went underground for fear of persecution, until 1951,
when the last of the anti-witchcraft laws were abolished in England. ...' It's on http://community-2.webtv.net/tala--/THEHISTORYOFWICCA/

Finally mailed my form to The National Archives for information on my Great-Grandfather when he was in the Civil War. Some time ago, I thought there was a site which you could go to in order to request NATF Form 80(11-87). Would any one know the Url for such a site? TIA

And for anyone who might have a 'GUSE' in your line there is also a lady named GUSE on that same board who seems fairly knowledgeable. F.Y.I.

I was looking for the Peter Joslin who married my Hanna Whitcomb in 1708 here in Lancaster,MA. USA
I just received 15 pgs. of JOSLIN/JOSSELYN/JOSLYN History.(all same Line, but some changed spelling along the way)....
It starts with Thomas JOSSELYN b:1591. Roxwell,Essex,Barham,Suffork,England.....d:Jan 3. 1659/60 in Lancaster,Worcester Co. MA....He married Rebecca MARLOWE,in 1615 in London,England. Rebecca was b:1592 and d:1669 in Lancaster Co. MA....They left England with family ( in 1635), On the London ship, 'INCREASE'.both were age 43...
It is said all American JOSLIN/JOSSELYN/JOSLYN are from this Thomas JOSSELYN .
This information says the Joslyn family,(IN ENGLAND), lived in the same house, (HYDE HALL), in Hertfordshie, for 800 years. Decendants eventually became the DUKES of RODEN,eith(sic), etc, etc, etc.
Is any of this familiar?..I have a lot more.
