I have been trying to find the parents of James G Roberts for many years. He was probably born in PA 29 Sept 1802. He was in Ohio until about 1840 and in Randolph Co. IN until his death. His wife was possibly Mary Anderson.

I'm still looking for John Jacob TRIER. I was told he was b 2 July 1838 in Buffalo, NY. Have noticed that he is listed on the 1880 census (the ones put out by the LDS) as John Jacob TREIER. They have him born in PA..as were his parents. I believe he was in the Civil War in PA from 1862-63. I am still looking for a good Civil War site..he was a volunteer & from what I can tell, he never held any position except a Private. I was told that Nara would probably not have any information on him. TIA for any suggestions or ideas.
