I have been looking for a copy of my grandmothers obit. and all I keep finding is her DOB & DOD and I know what cemetery she was buried in but have no idea where the services where held....HELP

It sounds like you have the beginnings of some important information. From the information on the death certificate, look for local Newspapers either in person or online. (try Google.com by placing the name of the town and then the word newspapers, also the state) you should get some hits. Once in the newspapers online, seek obit archives, or a possible phone or email address of the paper. Then i would try for volunteers for that area to see if they could do a lookup for you if you aren't living there. Try Genealogical Acts of Kindness site. I am sorry i don't have any URL's in front of me handy. Will post if i can find them. What State is this from? What time period?
